After some serious golf, John McHale emerged the eventual winner with an overall score of 35. Thus collecting the trophy at stake and a pro shop voucher for 130 Euros. He also collected a prize for nearest the pin and longest drive.
In the handicap categories, Chris warren with 32 points won ‘A’ (0-12 handicap) with Mike Cowburn taking 2nd also with 32 points, Dave Pinniger with 34 points, claimed the ‘B’ (13-21 handicap) with Paul Aplleyard taking 2nd with 32.
The ‘C’ category (22-36 handicap) was won by Claudio D’Asceni with 35 points with Tim Mitchell taking the runners up spot with 31. Claudio also claimed the senior division trophy.
Other prizewinners were Dan Kenyon with best gross score who played the course in 81 shots. Roy Azzopardi and Jeff Richardson also collected prize for nearest the pins and longest drive.
