Natwest consolidated their supremacy of local women’s volleyball with their 3-0 success over newcomers to volleyball the Royal Gibraltar Police team, and on the process winning their 23rd league title in the teams 34-year history. This is Natwest’s second silverware of the season.
The struggle is now centred for the runners up spot between Attias & Levy and Pepsi Girls who saw their recent match been cancelled with a 2-all score. The time barrier at the Sports Hall the culprit. When they meet again some time next week Pepsi Girls have to beat Attias & Levy and then hope they beat champions Natwest to still be in with a chance of runners up spot.

Cotton Leisure Utd practically assured themselves their first ever league title when they defeated the City Fire Brigade who in turn lost to Laguna Sharks. However their 3-1 win over the Defence Fire Service last week wrapped up the championship altogether. This is now the new champ’s second silverware of the season.
With only one set of fixtures to be played the table will suffer no changes at the end of it all.
